Toll Free Voice Mail
 
As part of our continuous exercise to enhance our services to the customer, we have introduced a Toll Free Voice Mail system for quick redress of customer complaints and to receive suggestions on our products and service offerings.

In the futuristic scenario banking services will become customer centric in which price, convenience and value addition will be the critical factors. Toll Free Voice Mail is introduced as a value added service to meet the customers’ expectations ahead of others.

Voice Mail System that we have installed is a fully computerized and automated system. It works on an open ended dialogic platform with software developed by Servion Global Solutions. The Voice Mail of the customers is stored and retrieved in a central depository located in the Corporate Office:Bangalore, administered by Department of Information Technology and managed by the Quality Improvement Division.

The Voice Mail system may be accessed on Toll Free number dial :1800 425 66 55
 
Operational sequence:
 
In a typical situation customers across the country will have to dial 1800 425 66 55 from a landline to log on to the voice mail system. The customer is welcomed to the Voice mailbox service and taken through a process to get details of their account number, name and address and the complaint or suggestions that are to be made. At the end of the recording a voice mail number will be given as an acknowledgement.

To ascertain the voice mail status customers have to ring again and at the prompting they should press the number 2. They will be required to key in the Voice Mail Number already given to them at the first dialing. A recorded message will be played giving details of the action taken and the status of the complaint / suggestion.

At the Voice Mail Centre CO: Bangalore the messages received are immediately attended to and followed up with the concerned branches and departments.

Voice Mail system to redress grievances is only an enabling mechanism and a value added service to the customers to facilitate faster and quicker disposal of complaints and suggestions. This is not a substitute for written complaints.

At present Voice Mail Service is available on a 24X7 basis.
