Sri M Anjaneya Prasad has been appointed as Executive Director of Syndicate Bank from 24.08.2011. Prior to taking over as Executive Director of the Syndicate Bank, Sri M Anjaneya Prasad served in Andhra Bank for over three decades. He joined Andhra Bank in the year 1978 & started his career as Management Trainee. He worked as Executive Secretary to Chairman and Managing Director and Board Secretary and also held various assignments. He served in various capacities in different centres.  He is having good exposure in various fields like Planning, Operations, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Corporate credit, Resource mobilisation and Human Resource management.  He also served as Zonal Manager of Chennai Zone, General Manager at Head Office incharge of Marketing, Operations and MSME Departments. He has been heading Mumbai Zone as General Manager since May’ 2008, controlling the branches in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.

Mr M Anjaneya Prasad is a Post Graduate in Statistics and also a MBA with CAIIB.  He is elected Fellow member [FIIBF] of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance.

Mr M Anjaneya Prasad has attended several Senior Executives programmes and various training programmes in Management, Credit & Risk Management both in-house and external [including International programmes] conducted by ASCI, NIBM, RBICAB, IIM, MDI Gurgaon and CRRID-Chandigarh.

He contributed articles to Banking magazines like IBA bulletin and BANCON etc.
