Shri Jagdish Raj Shrimali has been nominated as part-time non-official director on the Board of Directors of our Bank for a period of three years w.e.f. 29th July 2011 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Born in March, 1961 at Haldighati, a place of historical significance in Rajasthan, Shri Shrimali is a Bachelor in Arts. Besides a Social Worker, he is a Political & Trade Union leader, actively associated with Congress (I) party and its labour wing “Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC)”.

Shri Jagdish Raj Shrimali with rich experience of about 30 years in the Trade Union field has held several important positions in unions and federations at the State and National level. He is currently National Organizing Secretary – Central INTUC, New Delhi and General Secretary- Rajasthan State Branch of INTUC, etc.

His other current positions are :

• Chairman (Udaipur Region) of Central Board for Workers Education (Ministry of Labour & Employment - Govt. of India)
• Imperative Member of Indian National Cement Workers' Federation, Indian National Food & Drinks Workers Federation, Indian National Salaried Workers Federation, etc.
• Member of Executive Committee of Rajasthan Mahila Parishad, Maharana Pratap Smruti Sansthan, Haldighati (Rajasthan).

He has represented INTUC at International Conference organized by Japan International Labour Foundation at Tokyo (Japan) in 2002, besides several National Level Seminars / Conferences/ Workshops.

Shri Shrimali was honored as Social Activist by Udaipur District Administration on Independence Day -2003 for his utmost efforts for upliftment of workers of informal/unorganized sector. He is continuously taking initiative in educating & creating awareness among labour / working class on sensitive issues like HIV/AIDS and abolition of Child Labour.
